Our friends Jack and Lael took these Christmas pics of us in downtown Waukesha. Nothing like Christmas picutres in the snow. Hope every one has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are looking forward to seeing our families and celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus. Sending love to all of you. Thanks for your prayers and support.

A Thanksgiving to Remember!!
So this Thanksgiving was one that I will never be able to forget. We were able to annouce to our families that we will be having a sweet baby Hammer in June. We are so blessed and our parents were so excited. Shelley aka (Zsha Zsha) and Randy aka (Gramps) could not believe that I was able to hold it in so long as I am about 3 and 1/2 months along. Usually I am not a very good secret keeper, but we really wanted to tell them in person. Cammie and Ronny, I think are still in shock due to having 2 grandchildren within a months span of each other. Jeremy's sister Hillary is due on May 8th and I am due June 6th. It is fun because I can call her and see what life will be like for me a month from now. I can not wait to take our baby's pictures together. I have not really started showing yet, but my pants are beginning to get a little tight. Another great thing about this thanksgiving was that we were able to spend it with our three Chinese friends that Jeremy led to the Lord over the summer. This was there first time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Jeremy has still been meeting with them weekly via Skype and has been discipling them. We all have become very good friends and they are so much fun to be around. They are growing so much in the Lord. Anyway love all of you. I have posted some pics of our Thanksgiving fun. God has been expecially good to us this year as He always is. Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the people! I Chronicles 16:8

Lecrae Concert in Chicago!!
Chicago Style Pizza in Chicago!!
On Sunday night, November 7th, Jeremy and I along with our friends Sean and Jinny went to a Lecrae concert put on my Moody Bible Institute in down town Chicago. Lecrae, for anyone who does not know, is a Christian rap artist and if you can understand his lyrics, they are absolutely incredible. We know pretty much every song he sings by heart so it was a blast for us. We know Lacrae’s road manager, Steadman Nall. His brother was a groomsman in our wedding that Jeremy played baseball with for the Mets. One of the songs was about marriage and they had married couples come up on stage and dance. Through our connection with Steadman we were chosen, and it was so much fun. About 40 students from New Tribes attended the concert and when they saw us on stage they could not believe it. A teacher spoke in our daily chapel service this morning and the first thing he said when he began speaking was the He voted Jeremy and I as the best dancers. (Well maybe Jeremy!! HeHe) Before the concert, we ate Chicago style pizza in a little place downtown and it was delicious. There is nothing like it on earth! Yum!
Anyway we have started in Acts and 1 Corinthians and both classes are incredible. This is the first time we have taken a New Testament class were we are going straight through the books and breaking them down verse by verse. Acts is so awesome because Christ’s disciples are being obedient to preach the gospel in spite of great opposition. My favorite verse so far because it just blows my mind is: Acts 5:41 Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name. Peter and some of the apostles had just received a beating for telling people about Jesus and they rejoiced. It is so hard to imagine suffering for the name of Christ because growing up in America this does not really happen. My prayer is that if this does ever happen that I would glorify God as the apostles did. It is cool to see the same guy who denied Jesus three times, stand up to the Jewish leaders and defend the name of Christ and even rejoice in suffering for Him. What an awesome picture of the grace of God. Love you guys and have a great week!

Tribal Cup!!
Hey Friends and Family! Jeremy and I are driving to Jackson, Michigan with our friends, Jill and BJ for the Tribal Cup. Since their are two New Tribes Bible Institutes, one in Wisconsin and one in Michigan, we have a tournament each fall and spring and play against each other in various sporting events. Jeremy is playing in the football game, so when we get back I will post some pictures. We just started today a class called Christology and it is amazing. We talked about the eternality of Christ and how he has always been and always will be. It was great to see all the scripture to back up Christ's eternality. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Just wanted a give yall a quick update.

Deep Thought After a Long Hike Up the Mountain!
So Jeremy and I started classes about 2 1/2 weeks ago at New Tribes Bible institute and they are going great. We are taking adispensations, prophets, and theology and man are we learning alot. God is teaching us so much about himself. Theology is my favorite class because we are going through the names of God and His attributes. Tomorrow we talk about his Soveignty!! Anyway, it has been good to be back with all of our friends and get back started in class. Last semester, Jeremy and I were asked to be on leadership commitee and so we went on a leadership retreat before school started at Devils Lake. It was my first time to ever go camping and I have to say, "It was a blast." Jeremy said, "Your last name use to be Camp and youve never been camping!" We had a great time and God was great to allow us to get to know the other students and staff. We had meeting every night around the camp fire and one of the staff members would talk about principle of becoming an effective godly leader. Most of the staff has been to tribes and have reach them with the Gospel, so it was cool to hear their stories and be able to learn from them. We will continue to keep our blog updated. Forgive us for not doing a great job of that last semester. Pray that we will go anywhere to do anything for Christ. Love you guys.

My Sweet Paw Paw!!
So I am sitting in the hospital with my sweet Paw Paw Cheney surrounded by my amazing Christian family. We are waiting for surgery to come and get Paw Paw for pacemaker placement. As I think about him, I think, probably, I would have never come to know Jesus as Savior if it were not for him. He has been a pastor most of his life and has been faithful to preach the gospel not only to other people, but also to his family. How thankful I am that he is my grandfather. God has allowed me to be born into a family that has a long heritage of faith in Christ. Why me, I ask myself sometimes. Then I think, "To whom much is given, much is required." Life is short and as my Paw Paw has done I pray that Jesus will use Jeremy and I to preach the Gospel. Paw Paw, if you read this, "Thanks for being faithful to share Jesus to your family and to others. You will never know how much I love you."

Family Fun!
We are home for the summer and are having a blast with our family. Only a few weeks left to get to be here:( We are both sad about leaving, but know that God is going to do great things through us if we rely on Him. We found out a few days ago that when we go back to Waukesha that we are going to be able to move from our small studio apartment to one with an actual living room and bedroom. YEA!! We have a good friend name Bob who is staying in our apartment for the summer that is moving all of our stuff for us. He is so sweet for doing that. What a friend! Anyway for the past week my moms family has been down and we have been able to spend alot of time with them. They are so much fun and we have had a great time together. Anyway I have to run but I will try to post some pics soon!!
