Watch Me Grow 10 Months!

Thought the sticker might taste good!

Yum!

Mouth full!!

So I think we have to sweetest 10 month old ever.  She has the biggest personality and she is getting so big although she is much smaller than all the other 10 month olds her age in the nursery.  She is such a little peanut, but as the saying goes, "Dynamite comes in small packages."  She is starting to get 2 more upper teeth which will make a total of 6.  She is still pulling up and trying to stand on her own although she has not mastered standing alone yet, but she is much more steady than last month.  She is the busiest little body you have ever seen and the only time she is not busy is if she is asleep. We can not believe she will be 1 in only 2 months.  I am beginning to think about her birthday party.  It has been fun researching!!  Until next time, much love!!

Watch Me Grow!! 9 Months

We can not believe Paisley is 9 Months old.  We are sad to think that there are only 3 stickers left and then we will not be doing watch me grow pics each month anymore.  (Not that we will not post plenty of pics of her though) Just today she let go of the furniture she was holding onto and stood up by her self for about 10 seconds.  We were so excited.  She now has 4 teeth as you may have noticed which make it great because she is able to eat lots of things.  She brings so much joy to us it is indescribable.  She can walk on her own her little walker.  She knows how to give you five, retrieve the phone when asked, and she is saying MaMa and DaDa. (not always in context but we like it anyway hehe)  Anyway enjoy the pics.

Camp's Come to Visit!!

Dad and mom, Garrett and Andrea came to see us over the weekend! We had a great time.  We cooked and ate good food.  We played catchphrase, went to the outlet mall, and to HaHa Tonka (a local tourist attraction).  They got to see our campus and the lake.  They also brought us a four wheeler to use while we are here. Dad is so awesome!!! It has been so much fun for us to have it.  Paisley loves riding.  She gets the biggest grin on her face. Also they brought tons of Valentine presents for Paisley thanks to mom.  She loved it.   Here are few pics of our time together.

All of these were taken at HaHa Tonka

Watch Me Grow 8 Months!!

Paisley was 8 Months old on the 16th and she is doing a lot of things.  She is pulling up on everything.  She is trying to cruise from object to object.  Also if she has a toy in her hand and you ask for it she will give it to you.  My favorite thing this month is that if you ask her for a kiss, she leans in, opens her month, and plants a big slobber kiss right on your lips.  It is the cutest thing ever.  In the mornings when we get her out of her bed she kisses us without us asking.  If that does not begin your day on a good note, nothing will.  She is growing so fast and learning new things every day it seems.  She is not doing very well eating baby food.  All she will eat is bananas, so I have to mix them with everything and even then sometimes she will not open her little mouth.  She would fit in with monkeys very well the way she loves bananas. lol Here is our sweet baby girl this month!!

More carrots on her face than in her mouth!!

Classes at the Missionary Training Center have begun!

Classes have just started for us here at the Missionary Training Center and I told Mandy that I feel like my heart has just exploded. The first few days have been incredible! I can't believe that the Lord has lead us here to be equipped for cross-cultural ministry and is allowing us to rub shoulders with all of the amazing staff that is here who have been there and done that. One of the classes that we started with was called "Big Picture." It's objective was to give us an overview of what the whole process will most likely look like for us "missionary candidates." One thing I thought was cool was that we started with the end result - a MATURE CHURCH. What Mandy and I are being trained to do is not just go and share the gospel with a people who have never heard it, that is only the beginning. What we hope to do, empowered by God, is to see a mature church established, one that can reach the next generation and other people groups around it with the gospel. The above picture consists of 4 components that NTM feels that a church that is growing towards maturity will continue to display. What impacted me the most is that this isn't just something that a church should display somewhere in the distant future that we will, Lord willing, play a part in planting, but that WE are the Church! These are realities that should be on display in our lives! The amazing thing is that we don't have to strain and strive to make these characteristics true in our lives, THEY ARE TRUE! We have the very life of Jesus as our life, and it is only our responsibility to look to Him and depend on Him. By His grace may we all...
1. Live under the authority of GOD'S WORD
2. Know what our IDENTITY is as children of God and know what our purpose here on this earth is
3. Know where we get our LIFE from on a daily basis to live according to the way that He desires
4. And display a life that is in a continually process of DISCIPLESHIP

Our new Home!!

So we just got settled in at the Missionary Training Center in Camdenton, MO.  We started orientation on Wednesday and it has been really incredible so far.  Here are a few pics of our new home!! Although it is small it is a great space and Paisley loves her new room!! It is nice for us to not to have her sleeping in our room any more.  It is really good to finally be here.  We just got a list of classes that we will be taking over the next 3 years and we are really encouraged with the thorough training that we will receive.   Sorry for such a long time since up dating.  We have been so busy, but thats not a good excuse.  Love yall we will up date soon with how classes are going.
